The reproduction of photos from the KIK photo archive is free of charge but subject to the following stipulations:
ü For each photo, state the ‘CC-BY KIK-IRPA, Brussels, photo number’ formula.

ü Within 30 days of publication, provide a free proof copy (paper or pdf) in any language of the publication (except for an exhibition panel or website).
Permission for reproduction in question concerns only the reproduction of photographic documents themselves. In the case of photographs of modern works of art, approval must be obtained on one's own initiative from the user rights holders of the reproduced works. The obligation to apply for permission to reproduce extends to 70 years after the death of the author.
